Mary Jane Boblett, 57, of Bardstown, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at her home. She was born June 26, 1957, in Nelson 
County to the late Joe Daniel and Ruby Burkhead Curtsinger. She was a member of the Bloomfield Church of God, a former waitress at the Talbott Tavern, and a former employee of Union Underwear.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Laura Lynn Boblett; one sister, Betty Vessels; and two brothers, Tony Curtsinger and Ricky Curstinger.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Allen Boblett; one son, Robbie Boblett (Angela) of Bloomfield, six sisters, Edna Smith and Rose Calvert (Kenny), both of Bardstown, Rachel Greer of Bloomfield, Ruby McIntosh of Louisville, Debbie Finch (Alan) of Elizabethtown, and Rita Roten (Eddie) of Radcliff; and four grandchildren, Anthony Boblett, Nokomis Boblett, Bradley Boblett, and Kaylee Boblett.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tim VanHook officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
