Mary Rose Cundiff, 71, of Holy Cross, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at her home. She was born Oct. 14, 1942, in Marion County. She was a retired farmer.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Theo and Gillie Ann Mattingly Mudd; and one sister, Virginia Mattingly. She died with her husband, Thomas Wayne Cundiff.
Survivors include four daughters, Christina Kearney of Bardstown, Brenda Newton (Lawrence) of Lebanon, Pam Garrett of New York and Katherine Garrett of Florida; one son, Joe Garrett of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with cremation to follow.
Memorial donations may go toward funeral expenses.
