

Nancy Carolyn Watson, 66, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Hosparus Care Center Louisville. She was born Nov. 26, 1947, in Bardstown. She was a former employee of Nelson County Industries, attended Active Day Care and was a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve Thomas and Ethel Christine Muncy Watson; twin sisters, Rita and Freda Watson; and one brother Ancil Watson.
She is survived by two sisters, Beverly (Dave) Lewis of Cox’s Creek and Anna (Dean) Crenshaw of Bloomfield; four brothers, Tommy (Dorothy) Watson of Cox’s Creek, Vernon Ray (Susan) Watson, Ronnie (Kathy) Watson and Ricky Watson, all of Bardstown; one sister-in-law, Linda Watson; and special caregiver, Sandy Pritchard; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brother Tim Lucas will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, and 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown.
