Paul Allen Atherton, 59, of Buffalo, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Clifton Oaks Center in Louisville. He was born Sept. 23, 1958, in Lexington to the late Kenneth Warren and Geraldine Riddell Atherton. He was a Lance Corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Kenneth Atherton.
Survivors include three sons, Dylan Atherton of Bowling Green, and Matthew Atherton and Paul “Jamie” Atherton, both of Buffalo; Debbie Atherton, the mother of his children, of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Atherton, Jayden Atherton and Tristan Hutton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family has chosen a private funeral service for Paul Allen Atherton .
The William R. Rust Funeral Home, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd, Hodgenville, was in charge of arrangements.
