Paul Edward Edlin Jr., 42, of New Hope, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, in New Haven. He was born Jan. 25, 1974 and was the son of Paul Edward “Butch” Edlin and Barbara Engle. He was a farmer and a member of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Moriah Edlin of New Hope; his mother, Barbara (George Bell) Engle of New Hope; his father, Paul Edward “Butch” Edlin of Howardstown; one sister, JoAnn (Lee McIntyre) Edlin of New Haven; three half-brothers, Derrek Robey and Thomas Robey of Gleanings and Joey Darst of Loretto; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Chapel, 167 N. Main St., New Haven with the Rev. Dana DeSpain, pastor of the New Jerusalem Church in Lyons Station, officiating. Burial is in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church cemetery in Boston.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m .Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
