Polly Lynnette Brothers, 50, of Bardstown, died Monday, July 17, 2017, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born Oct. 18, 1966, in Nelson County. She was a former Instructional Assistant with Nelson County Schools and was a Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Russell “J.R.” and Mary Blanche Linton Ballard; and one sister, Patsy Bartley.
Survivors include one sister, Penny Smith (Rick) of Bardstown; one son, Duncan Sean Brothers of Bardstown; one brother, Archie Ballard (Mary) of Bardstown; her companion Paul Burress; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with Deacon Scott Turner presiding. Cremation will follow.
Visitation is 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the funeral home.
Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
