Obituary: Ramona Redmon, 85, Chaplin

Ramona Redmon, 85, of Chaplin, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Bardstown Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Sept. 14, 1932, to the late Alton B. and Bertha Mae Hunter Taylor. She was a homemaker, a former employee for the Nelson County Clerk Office and a member of Chaplin Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Frank Redmon; a sister, Ruth Colvin; and one brother, Willard Taylor.

She is survived by one daughter, Valerie Hawkins of Bardstown; two sons, Tom Redmon of Bardstown and Kenny (Sara) Redmon of Elizabethtown; one sister, Peggy Kidwell of Bardstown; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The graveside service is 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin with Bro. Gary Chesser officiating.

The family request that expressions of sympathy be made for funeral expenses.

The Houghlin Funeral of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
