Ricky L. Hobbs, 66, of New Haven, died Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at his home. He was born Oct. 5, 1959. He was a truck driver and worked for IMI and Southern States for many years. He enjoyed hobby farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Doris Hobbs; one sister, Renee Brown; and one daughter, Brandy Hobbs.
He was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Denise Hobbs of New Haven; two sons, Travis Hobbs of New Haven and Zach (Kristi) Hobbs of Cox’s Creek; one sister, Radonna (Steve) Bartley; one brother, Ronnie (Lauren) Hobbs; eight grandchildren, Trey (Shelby) Radcliffe, Hunter, Jeremiah, Faith, Grace, Bryce Hobbs, J.R. and Josie Hobbs; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass was Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with cremation to follow.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
