Robert “Bob” Brown, 84 of Shepherdsville, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019, with his family by his side. He was a masonry worker of more than 50 years. He owned and operated B&B Masonry before retiring at the age of 80. He was a loving husband, great dad, and a grandpa that loved anything that had to do with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donnie Brown and Ronnie Brown.
Survivors include his wife of more than 17 years, Mellody Brown; six children, Kim (Alexis) Roman of Bardstown, Lisa Leal of Texas, Amanda (Mike) Brewer, Timothy White, Charlie (Lisa) Reichmuth and Melissa Hubbard, all of Shepherdsville; one sister, Shirley (Henry) McClain of Taylorsville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved dearly.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2019, and 9-10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
