Robert “Bob” Raisor, 69, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at his residence. He was born Nov. 21, 1948 in New Castle, Ind., and was a retired self-employed home improvement worker. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Bardstown Art Gallery. He enjoyed playing music with his friends and loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Matilda Raisor; and one brother, Ricky Raisor.
He is survived by his wife, Freida Raisor of Bardstown; one daughter, Dawn Dalton of Bardstown; two sons, James Raisor of Hodgenville, and Robert Raisor of Elizabethtown; one stepdaughter, Beth Mattingly of Bardstown; one stepson, Tim Rice of Benton; four sisters, Betty Simpson and Donna Dailey, both of Elizabethtown, Patty Turpin of Hodgenville, and Shirley Shelburne of Nebraska; one brother, John Raisor of Pendleton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service is 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
