Obituary: Robert Lynn ‘Bob’ Hardeman, 73, Bardstown

Robert Lynn “Bob” Hardeman, 73, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was a native of Vansburg and worked as a bridge concrete/carpenter finisher for various companies. He was a member of the Bardstown Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Hardeman; his father Charlie Hardeman; one brother; and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Ritchie Hardeman; one son, Michael Hardeman of Lawrenceburg; his mother, Myrtle Hutchinson Hardeman of Morehead; three sisters; seven brothers; four grandchildren, Amanda Hardeman, Randy Hardeman, Kayla Hardeman and Jimmy Hardeman; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bardstown Baptist Church Building Fund.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
