Robert Patrick Bartley, 84, of New Haven, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at his residence. He was born Jan. 8, 1942, in Nelson County to the late Joseph Leslie and Bessie Mae Gafney Bartley. Robert retired from American Fuji Seal after 30 plus years of service. He loved car shows and spending time with his family. Robert was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles, Tommy, Billy, Bobby, Junior, and Martha.
Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Hagan Bartley, his children, Joseph “Joey” (Sharon) Bartley of Lawrenceburg, Timothy “Tim” (Elaine) Bartley of New Haven, Susan Renée (Terry) Burba of New Haven, Michael Bartley of New Haven, Marie (Dickie) Robinson of Bardstown and Betty Ann (Robin) Nalley of Boston, his siblings, Keith “Doc” (Pat) Bartley, Ann (Tom) Garner, and Edith Riggs, 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survives.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Robert P Bartley will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope, Fr. A. Biju Chathely, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Thomas Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, Friday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., additional visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
