Obituary: Robert Woodall, 83, Bardstown

Robert Woodall, 83, of Bardstown, died Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his home. He was born Jan. 10, 1932, in Louisville to the late Robert Francis and Beatrice Rowley Woodall. He was a retired engineer for Baptist Hospital East and attended Bloomfield Church of God of Prophecy.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy; and five brothers, William, Carl, Alan, Gilbert, and Richard.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Hood Woodall; one daughter, Carol (Mike) Hill of Bardstown; three grandchildren, Shaun Hill, Kelly (Corey) Boernsen and Denise (Robert) Dishon; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Hill and Brooklyn Boernsen.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A private memorial service is 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville with Bro. Millard Ledford officiating with inurnment to follow.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
