Obituary: Rollie Eugene Stevens, 68, Bardstown

Rollie Eugene Stevens, 68, of Bardstown, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at his residence. Rollie was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Bardstown to Kenneth and Aileen Chesser Stevens. He worked at Winn-Dixie for 27 years and was a volunteer Nelson County firefighter for 12 years. Rollie loved hunting, fishing, golfing and trap shooting. He was a member of Bardstown Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Stevens; a stepdaughter, April Miller; and a grandson, Ronnie Williams.

Rollie is survived by his wife, Bonnie Breier Stevens; his mother, Aileen Stevens; his daughters, Adrienne (Sammy) Berry of Bardstown and Amanda (Derrick) Bright of Campbellsville; his sister, Kim (Jeff) Kisegy of Bardstown; his brothers, Greg (Theresa) Stevens of Bardstown and Joey (Amy) Stevens of Harrison, Ohio; his stepdaughter, Angela (Jason) Castro of Metairie, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Emma Berry, Graham Berry, Reagan Bright, Bode Bright, Will Castro, Jude Castro, Olivia Castro, Gabriella Castro and Peyton Castro; and his step-great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Zaelynn Williams of Bowling Green.

Funeral services for Rollie Eugene Stevens will be 5 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, with Pastor Anthony Castle officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service. In honoring Rollie’s wishes, cremation will follow.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
