Ronald Franklin Whitehouse, 86, of Bardstown Road, Springfield, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Rudell Graves Whitehouse; three daughters, Diane Keene of Lexington, Brenda Mattingly of Loretto and Sheila Thomas of Springfield; one son, Ralph Whitehouse of Bloomfield; three sisters, Joanne Barnes of Louisville and Aline Abell, both of Louisville and Sue Raley of 
Lebanon; two brothers, Sam Abell of Shelbyville and Carroll Abell of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the St. Rose Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, and 7-10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
