Ronald W. Sidebottom, 76, of Boston, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born Oct. 24, 1941, in Louisville. He was a commercial plumber and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Virginia Sidebottom; one sister, Raetta Guzzo-Sidebottom; and one brother, James Sidebottom.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Georgia Sidebottom of Bardstown; one daughter, Theresa (Glen) Mcintosh of Bardstown; two sons, Wayne (Tammy) Sidebottom and Troy Sidebottom, both of Bardstown; four sisters, Donna Glasser, Regina Armante, Debra Richards, and Judy Foster; two brothers, Tony Sidebottom and Jerry Sidebottom; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Nichols, pastor of Rolling Fork Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
