Obituary: Rose Ann Jones, 80, Bardstown

Rose Ann Jones, 80, of Bardstown, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 22, 1934, in Nelson County. She was the former owner of 150 Quick Stop. She was a Bethlehem graduate funeral_lilyand a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Jake” Jones; one son, David C. Jones; her parents, Adrian and Marie Walker; one sister, Loretta Walker Whitehouse; and two brothers, Bill Walker and Edwin Charles “Boo” Walker.

She is survived by two daughters, Angie Jones Spalding (Ronnie) and Paula Ann Jones, both of Bardstown; two sons, Jerry Jones of Bardstown and Kenny Jones (Connie) of Cub Run; one sister, Jane Walker O’Keefe of Texas; two brothers, Thomas L. Walker and Francis Leo Walker, both of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at The Burg with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Matthew Hardesty will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Sunday.

Memorial contributions may go to the National Parkinson Foundation.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
