Sallie Williams, 94, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at her home. She was born July 3, 1920, in LaRue County. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Bereavement Committee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Williams; one daughter, Theresa Catherine Williams; one son, Joseph Randall Williams; her parents, Joe Lee and Susan Catherine “Sudie” Harbin; and five brothers, Frank Harbin, Walt Harbin, Milburn Harbin, Ellsworth Harbin and Joe Harbin.
She is survived by four daughters, Agnes M. Rankin of Lexington, Susan (Vernon) Watson, Dorothy Robinson, and Laverne Williams, all of Bardstown; three sons, Joe Paul Williams and Pat Williams, both of Bardstown and Dale (Winona) Williams of Cheyenne, Wyoming; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, and 8-9:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may go to Bethlehem High School.
