Stephanie LeAnn Wiedemer Gilland, 32, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, May 17, 2019, at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington after an illness. She was a native of Jefferson County and an employee of LSC Communications and a Catholic by faith.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jessa Gilland and Abby Gilland, both of Elizabethtown; her parents, Lisa Shelton (Delbert) of Lebanon Junction and Stephen Wiedemer (Laura) of Bardstown; one sister, Kayla Wiedemer of Lebanon Junction; her grandparents, Billy Roy Brashear of Shepherdsville and Mary Shelton of Elizabethtown; and her boyfriend, Steve Whitehouse of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Deacon Michael Wiedemer officiating. Burial is in Vine Hill Cemetery in Clermont.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the funeral home. A prayer vigil service is 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Memorial expressions of sympathy may be made to St. James Catholc School – Elizabethtown.
The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
