Sylvia Mae Brady, 77, of Louisville, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at her daughter’s residence. She was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Manton. She formerly worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with St. Anthony Hospital in Louisville. She worked there 29 years until it closed. She was a member of St. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brady (2007); three daughters, Jo Ann Brady, Gladys Jean Brady and Charlotte White; her parents, Joseph Veller and Agnes Virginia Riggs McIntyre; five sisters, Louise Cambron, Dorothy Shanahan, Alice Mattingly, Mary Rudie and Lorene Kelty; one brother, James Earl McIntyre.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Brady (Kenny Scheirbaum) and Marlene Sutpin, all of Louisville; three sons, Donald Brady, Joseph (Debbie) Brady and Jeremy Brady all, of Louisville; one sister, Mary Catherine Smith of Tupelo, Miss.; one brother, J.K. McIntyre (Betty) of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Rd. in Loretto. Burial is in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
