Tammy Duff Kurtz, 56, of Bardstown, died Monday May 9, 2016, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born July 21, 1959, in Rockford, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Garr; and one brother, Lonnie Duff Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Amanda (Tyler) Kennedy of Bardstown; one son, Christopher (Lauren) Kurtz of Bardstown; her mother, Linda Whittley Garr of Lebanon, Mo.; her father Lonnie (Elaine) Duff of Doniphin, Mo.; two sisters, Cheryl Heldt and Julie Smith, both of Lebanon, Mo.; three grandchildren, Joshua Kennedy, Samuel Kurtz, and Teagan Kurtz; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Schexneider will officiate.
Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
