Theresa Louise Richard, 62, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at her home. She was born Jan. 14, 1964, in Bardstown to James W. and Mildred Livers Richard.
She was an employee at Great Louisville. She loved to cook. She was a member of the recipe club and she enjoyed her bible trivia. She was a member of Bardstown 1st Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Richard; one aunt, Betty Jo Hopson; and two uncles, James Livers and Joseph Lee Livers.
She is survived by her mother, Mildred Livers Richard of Bardstown; one sister, Minister Phyllis Keeylen (Deacon Gregory Keeylen) of Louisville; two nieces, Andriann “Angie” Richard and Hope Keeylen; and three great-nieces, Olivia Mayfield, Jordyn Mayfield, and Rumanii Copas.
The funeral is noon Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Bardstown 1st Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial is in Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026 at the church.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
