Thomas James Chapman 69, of Boston, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born Aug. 12, 195,7 in Dallas, Texas to the late Thomas Jesse and Gwendolyn Frances Chamness Chapman. He was a Baptist by faith. He was self employed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Chapman.
He is survived by two sons, James Douglas (Connie) Chapman of St. Francis. and Rance Chapman of Boston; one sister, Deborah (Jerry) Bursby of Lone Star, Texas; two brothers, Greg Allen Chapman of Lone Star, Texas and Randy Joe Chapman of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Justin Chapman, Jessica Chapman and Shelby Chapman; two great-grandchildren, Braelyn and Maci; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen with no services.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home Boston Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
