Timothy Louis Roy, 42, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at his residence. He was born May 4, 1973, in Fredericksburg, Va. He was a retired Sergeant First Class with the United States Army and a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ines Roy; three daughters, Elizabeth T. Roy, Stephanie N. Roy, and Rebecca J. Roy, all of Bardstown; one son, Nathaniel Eric Roy of Bardstown; his father and mother-in-law, Clifford L. and Sandra Lee Roy of Fredericksburg, Va.; his mother, Patricia Tipton Roy of Culpepper, Va.; and three brothers, Scott Anthony Roy of Culpepper, Va., Kevin Hicks of Stafford, Va., and Kenny Hicks of Richmond, Va.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Vine Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Greg Crenshaw officiating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
