Obituary: Timothy ‘Tim’ Joseph Parker, 62, Bardstown

Timothy “Tim” Joseph Parker, 62, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2026. He was born Jan. 28, 1964, in Bedford, Ind.

He was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. His loyalty to his team was matched only by the affection he held for his beloved canine companion, Izzy, who was rarely far from his side.

He was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was the kind of person who could be counted on when a friend or family member was in need. He never hesitated to help whenever he could. His generosity, dependability, and caring nature were qualities that made him a valued friend, brother, uncle, and companion. He took pride in working hard and in being there for the people he cared about.

The bonds he shared with his family were a source of comfort and joy throughout his life, and his memory will remain close to their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Parker; and his father, Mac Parker.

Survivors include one sister, Michelle Newcomb (Jack); one niece, Stephanie Beason (Eric); two nephews, Vincent Pike (B) and JT Pike.

The memorial service is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.

Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026.ice. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life, honor the man he was, and share the memories that will keep his spirit alive.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
