Troy Gene Brown, 43, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Baptist East Hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1973, in Tacoma, Wash. He worked at Katayama and a member of Open Door Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Gene and Nata Mae Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Brown of Bloomfield; one daughter, Brianna Brown of Mount Washington; three stepchildren, Jacqueline Kappell, Austin (Kimberly) Kappell and Michael Cody Hall, all of Bloomfield; five nieces and nephews, Cory Sallee, Megan Sallee, Myranda Sallee, Abigale Hall and Emma Hahn; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Open Door Christian Church with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Mavis Bennett officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Open Door Christian Church.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
