William “Bill” Mullins, 101, of Bardstown, died at home on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026. He was born May 17, 1925, in Marion County.


He was a member and deacon of First Christian Church (DOC), the VFW, and the Optimist Club. He was also an avid golfer with four holes-in-one in his golfing career.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II and participated in the June 6, 1944 D-Day landings and the landings in Normandy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rose Mullins; one sister, Frances Mullins Brown; and one brother, Robert Thomas Mullins.
He is survived by one son, Ronald “Ron” Lee (Marilyn) Mullins; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service is noon Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Summers officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026 at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
