William David Puckett, 65, of Bardstown, died June 11, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born July 13, 1951, in Buffalo. He was a retired truck driver for American Service Lines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvil and Helen Puckett; his son-in-law, Timmy Murphy; and grandson, Hayden Burkhead.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Puckett; three children, Kyna Murphy, Chasity (Greg) Burkhead and Christy Danner; two sisters, Marilyn (Johnny) Keith and Judy (Kenny) Brewer; five grandchildren, Ashley Murphy, Jenna Burkhead, Brennan Burkhead, Austin Puckett, and Paige Puckett; and three great-grandchildren, Adrianna Brooke Keller, Layne Pritchard and Remi Pritchard.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service Wednesday evening.
