William Glen Thompson, 81, of Hodgenville, died Monday, May 4, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born June 2, 1944, in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Samuel and Audrey Post Thompson.
He was a loving, husband, stepfather and brother. He was Christian by faith. He was a retired truck driver. He also loved spending time fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Thompson; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Judy Camp Thompson of Hodgenville; one stepdaughter, Brenda Sinclair of Hodgenville; two stepsons, Fred Hafford and Dwight (Teresa) Hafford, both of Maine; one sister, Sheryl Kent of Florida; one brother, Russell Thompson of Florida; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In keeping with the family’s wishes cremation was chosen.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
