Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, 9:16 a.m. — A 17-year-old Boston girl was killed in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Nat Rogers Road and Simon Greenwell Lane Thursday morning. Taylor Martin, 17, a student at Thomas Nelson High School, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Nelson County coroner.
At about 8 a.m., Nelson County EMS, the Rolling Fork Fire Department and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to respond for an accident with possible entrapment after a vehicle crashed into a tree. The Nelson County Fire Department responded to assist the Rolling Fork firefighters with manpower at the accident scene.
