Friday, April 24, 2015, 8 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department and Bardstown Police Department 
were called Friday afternoon at about 12:17 p.m. to Bardstown High School, 400 North Fifth St., for an activated fire alarm. Firefighters investigated the alarm and determined a 16-year-old student maliciously activated a pull station in the school. The school students and staff were evacuating the building when firefighters arrived.
The school’s alarm company was called to respond to reset the alarm system. A Bardstown Police officer, the fire department incident commander, and school officials talked with the student involved in the incident.
