Robert James Summers, 72, Bardstown

Robert James Summers, age 72, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. He was born July 10, 1939.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Louise Mattingly Summers who died April 16, 2011.

He is survived by three children, James Summers of Floyds Knobs, Ind., Rob Summers and Deborah Warren, both of Louisville; and several grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. No public services are planned.
