Roger Raymond Burton, 33, of Bloomfield, died Sunday. Aug. 28, 2011, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was a native ofSpringfield,Ill., and a laborer.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Dalton and Gabriel Burton.
He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Burton of New Haven; a son Cody Burton of New Haven; two sisters, Sandy Hoagland of Shelbyville and Cheri (Brad) McCafferty of Pleasant Plains, Ill.; three brothers, Daniel Hoagland of Springfield, Ky., Brian (Tara) Womack of Springfield, Ill., and Bobby (Theresa) Womack of Sherman, Ill.; a stepbrother, David (Anita) Case of Lawrenceburg; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Samuel Case of Bloomfield; his father and stepmother, Roger and Denise Burton of Springfield Ill.; and his paternal grandmother, Lillian Burton of Springfield, Ill.
The funeral was 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011.
