Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 9:13 p.m. — A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for western Nelson County until 6:55 p.m.
At 9:09 p.m…. National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing penny size hail, heavy lightning and damaging winds near 60 mph. This storm was located near the northwestern Nelson County-Bullitt County line moving south at 25 mph.
