Susie Bell Wade Spalding, 82, of Bardstown died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at her residence. She was born July 18, 1929, in Harrodsburg. She was a former employee of KFC restaurant and a member of St. John A.M.E. Zion Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Spalding; her parents, Charles and Anna Wade; three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Marie Walker of Bardstown; two brothers, James Wade and Samuel Wade both of Cleveland,Ohio; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at St. John A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Samuel Harris officiating.
Visitation is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday at St. John A.M.E. Zion Church.
