CRYSTAL ROGERS

Louisville media reported Tuesday night that items of interest were removed from the farm yesterday. Aerial news video of the search showed officers crawling through shallow waterways searching the water as they moved forward.

The Houck family farm is owned by Rosemary Houck, the mother of Brooks Houck, who police named as the main suspect in Rogers’ disappearance in July 2015.

Today’s searches follow a series of search warrants served on Houck family members in recent weeks, including a search of the home owned by Brooks Houck’s grandmother, and search warrants for DNA.

The Houck farm has been the subject of two previous searches, the first being just days after her disappearance.

Rogers, 35, disappeared July 3, 2015. Her car was found by her family abandoned with a flat tire near the Bluegrass Parkway’s 14 mile marker. Her keys and personal belongings were still in the car.
