Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 1 a.m. — Two people were injured Monday evening in a single vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Taylorsville Road near Bloomfield.
At 6:12 p.m. Monday, the Northeast Nelson Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car that left the roadway and hit a tree. Firefighters helped the victims from the vehicles and EMS treated the victims — a 30-year-old woman and a teenaged boy — at the scene. The woman was transported by EMS on to University Hospital in Louisville with a possible ankle injury. Emergency responders were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
