Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, 11 a.m. – The Bardstown City Council held its regular meeting Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016. Among the actions taken, the council approved a resolution in support of a needle and syringe exchange program in Bardstown and Nelson County. The program would be administered and funded by the Lincoln Trail Health Department. The council also approved annexation of the new Luxco distillery property; discussed but did not approve a social media policy; the mayor will impose one by executive order on city employees. The council discussed hiring an investigator, and anticipate having a draft contract to vote on at the Dec. 27, 2016 council meeting. Running time: About 58 minutes.
