Sunday, July 24, 2016, 10 a.m. – The Bardstown City Council Safety Committee met on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 to discuss problems with the Bardstown Police Department’s body cameras; the purchase of police cruisers; the procedure that will be used to hire the next police chief and a possible memorandum of understanding between the police department’s FLEX team and agents it supports, which include the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and the Greater Hardin County Drug Task Force.
