Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, 5 p.m. – The Bardstown City Schools Board of Education held a special meeting on Aug. 2, 2016 to set the initial school tax rate for 2016. A motion to set the rate to create a 3 percent revenue increase (rather than 4 percent) fails. The rate still requires approval after a public hearing is conducted. Running time: 19:28.
