Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 — Bardstown Mayor John Royalty, Police Chief Rick McCubbin and City Attorney Tim Butler conducted a press conference regarding the mayor’s decision to terminate Bardstown Police Officer Nick Houck. Houck was suspended last month from his police duties. The order released by City Hall states that Houck interfered with the Crystal Rogers investigation by tipping off his brother Brooks Houck, Rogers’ boyfriend.
