Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, 10 a.m. – Nelson Fiscal Court met Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. The court approved the only bid received for the road repairs on Greens Chapel Road and Murphy Lane; the board approved adding an additional maintenance position; and discussed EMS employee recruitment and retention. County Clerk Elaine Filiatreau reported absentee voting had begun and voting was heavy prior to the Nov. 8 election. Running time: About 41 minutes.
