Water line break expands boil water advisory for city water customers

Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 — Some City of Bardstown water customers who live in the 400 block of North Fifth Street are under a Boil Water Advisory due to a water line break on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Bardstown City Hall issued the advisory for the city water customers who live from:

  • 400-420 North Fifth St.

OTHER AREAS STILL UNDER AN ADVISORY. Other city water customers who live on Templin Avenue, Hurstland or Circle Drive remain under a Boil Water Advisory after scheduled maintenance on Tuesday.

The customers affected by the advisory include:

  • 434 Templin Ave.
  • 102 – 128 Hurstland Dr.
  • 182 – 350 Circle Dr.

Customers may experience low or intermittent water pressure, and, therefore, drinking water should be boiled as a precautionary measure. Please follow the procedures provided. This boil water advisory notice will be in effect for approximately 2-3 days. The City will notify customers when the advisory is lifted. If discoloration or air persists, please call City Hall at 502-348-5947.
