William Eli Fenwick, 17, New Haven

William Eli Fenwick, 17, of New Haven, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at his residence in Howardstown. He was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown. He was an exceptional “A” honor roll student at Bethlehem High School and preparing for his senior year. He was a member of the National Honor Society and recognized for his achievements in French and maintained perfect attendance at Bethlehem. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and riding dirt bikes.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Fenwick.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kim and Kenny Armstrong of New Haven; his father, Dennis Fenwick of New Haven; one sister, Abby Fenwick of New Haven; one brother, Lucas Fenwick of New Haven; two stepsiters, Amanda Montgomery and her husband Stephen Montgomery, and Sarah Armstrong; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Beverly Newton of New Haven; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Mattingly Fenwick of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. Ben Brown as celebrant.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 and 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church, 7500 Howardstown Road, New Haven, 40051.
