William H. “Bill” Binkley Sr., 75, of Bardstown, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Corydon, Ind. He was owner of Sealtest Distributorship, Glenway Trucking, and Binkley Rental. He was a member of Bardstown United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Alphia Binkley; and one sister, Betty Ann Binkley.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Shaw Binkley; one daughter, Sara Lee (Drew) Wright of Bardstown; one brother, Robert (Cathy) Binkley of Corydon, Ind.; one grandson, Kyle Edward Wright of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Scott C. Stith will officiate. Visitation is noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Boys and Girls Town.
