William Joseph “Joe Bill” Durbin, 73, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 27, 1939, in Bardstown. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and farmer.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robin Anthony Durbin; his parents, Raymond and Golda Durbin; his stepmother, Mary Regina Durbin; one brother, Howard Durbin; and one stepbrother, Ronnie Clements.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Theresa Bickett; one daughter, Sabrina Durbin of Bardstown; two sons, Billy Joe Durbin, and Todd Patrick Durbin and his wife Laura, all of Bardstown; two sisters, May Morrison and Louise Jackson, both of Bardstown; and one stepsister, Judy Pierce of Macon, Ga.; one brother, Louis “Doc” Durbin of Bardstown; and four grandchildren, William Scott Durbin, Jason Alan Durbin, Bailey Louise Logsdon, and Levi Jude Hall, all of Bardstown;
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The rev. Danny Haynes will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the funeral home.
