Willie Martin, 54, of Bardstown, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born May 15, 1957, in NelsonCounty.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Christina Martin; his parents, Viney and Jesse Lee Martin; two brothers, Kenny Martin and Jesse Wayne “Bad to the Bone” Martin; and a sister, Anna Jane Nalley.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Chesser Martin; two daughters, Joanna Martin and Wilemina Carrera, all of Bardstown; two sisters, Clemen Hellard of Cox’s Creek and Ellen Conn of Bardstown; three granddaughters, Alexis Carrera, Anyia Carrera, and Airiella Martinez; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial inthe BardstownCemetery. Bro. Joe Vires will officiate.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8-10 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.
