Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, 9:45 a.m. -– Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS were called to a home in the 100 block of Springhill Drive for a reported suicide attempt by a 14-year-old. Police were told the teen was threatening to take an overdose if he was required to go to school. When police arrived they found the teen had taken approximately 18 250 mg doses of ibuprofen. EMS transported the teen to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
