Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, 1 a.m. — A 16-year-old Nelson County High School female student was injured during cheerleading practice Thursday evening at Nelson County High School.
At about 5:56 p.m. Thursday, Nelson County EMS and the Bardstown Fire Department were dispatched to the high school on Bloomfield Road for a report of a cheerleader who was injured when another cheerleader fell on top of her.
The teen was treated at the scene by EMS and then transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of facial and neck pain.
