Automotive transmission problem prompts firefighters’ response

Friday, March 11, 2011, 7:29 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called about 3:30 p.m. Friday to the intersection of KY 245 and US 62 for a report of a car possibly on fire. The call came from a passer-by. Firefighters determined the car was experiencing transmission trouble and was not on fire. Firefighters’ response was canceled.
